Hi! We are a family from Argentina, my 4 year-old daughter, Giulia, my 2 year-old second daughter called Lara, hubby and me! We have been using the OPOL method (English-Spanish) since my eldest girl was born. Community and daddy language is Spanish, and mom´s second language is English.
In this blog, I want to share my experiences and thoughts and, of course, to learn about other parents in my shoes or similar. Thanks for reading ;)
I created this blog as a way to keep a record on my girls' milestones in their "second language", but I soon realised that trying to put their natural expressions in a sheet of paper was not enough. They have come to an age in which the outcome of our efforts come alive in everyday conversation, so I thought, why not to film them?
By recording them and by creating videos while they´re playing and have fun is the best way to keep memories and a track of their languages acquisition at every stage of their lifestyle.
